Active COVID cases dropping in SL

Active COVID-19 cases in Sarnia-Lambton continue to trend downwards.

On Saturday, Lambton Public Health reported 18 new cases and 57 resolved, lowering active infections to 204.  Just over a month ago, the health unit was reporting 1,493 active cases.

The number of active outbreaks is now at five, down one over the past 24 hours.

There are 10 COVID-positive patients at Bluewater Health in Sarnia, down from 13 on Friday.  There is one patient in the ICU.

There have been 9,412 confirmed cases reported during the pandemic, including 120 COVID-related deaths and 9,088 resolved cases.
