A tentative deal has been reached between the public school board and its 400 occasional elementary teachers.
The Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) and the Occasional Teachers of the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario (ETFO) have reached a three year agreement retroactive to September 1, 2019.
Further details about the deal, which is still pending ratification, have not been released.
A provincial collective agreement between ETFO, the Ontario Public School Boards' Association (OPSBA) and the province was ratified in April 2020.
