The Sting lose 4-3 in Owen Sound

The Owen Sound Attack rallied for 4-3 home ice victory over the Sarnia Sting in OHL action.

Lorenzo Bonaiuto opened the scoring for the Attack before Ryan Mast tallied for the Sting with two seconds left in the first period assisted by Justin O'Donnell.

Brayden Guy scored for Sarnia early in the second frame with assists going to Theo Hill and Ty Voit.

Voit scored at the 4:51 mark of the period with Hill and Cameron Supryka picking up assists.

Before the period ended Owen Sound would tie the game with goals from Nolan Seed and Stepan Machacek.

The Attack's Deni Goure scored the game winner in the third.

Anson Thornton made 23 saves for the Sting while Mack Guzda stopped 35 Sarnia shots.

With loss Sarnia falls to 1-4-2 on the season while Owen Sound improved to 3-6-1.

The Sting host Saginaw Friday at 7:05 p.m.
