Legionnaires lose home-opener to the Stars

The Sarnia Legionnaires fell 5-3 to the St. Thomas Stars in the home-opener of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League.

Dylan Dupuis scored two goals for the Legionnaires with a single going to Brayden Krueger.

Maddox Amaral scored twice for the Stars with Tanner Dietz, Jack Weber and Patterson MacNair also scoring for the visitors.

St. Thomas outshot Sarnia 28-20.

The two teams face-off again on Thursday at the Sarnia Arena starting at 7:10 p.m.
