Lambton Public Health is looking for a medium-size dog and its owner after someone was bitten at Ipperwash Main Beach.
A dog described as being a brown pit bull bit a woman around 8:30 p.m. on July 3. The dog's owner was reportedly not there during the incident.
The health status of the dog needs to be verified, otherwise, public health officials said the victim will need to receive post-exposure rabies shots.
