Over $60K in drugs seized in London Line bust

Sarnia police seized $63,000 worth of illegal drugs in a bust Thursday.

At around noon, members of the Sarnia Police Service COPPS Unit were on patrol in the 1600 block of London Line, following several complaints and concerns that have arisen in that area.

It's alleged officers came across an individual known to them, who was also wanted on an outstanding warrant.

The individual was arrested, and during a search of his backpack, police located 121.3 grams of suspected fentanyl, 11.4 grams of suspected cocaine, 10 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine and $1,375 in cash.

Officers also discovered drug paraphernalia including needles, sterile water as well as numerous smoking and snorting devices.

Jordan Lawrence Nahambin-Shaw, 31, of Sarnia is charged with three counts of possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of trafficking.

He was being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
