Sarnia police seize cocaine in traffic stop

The Sarnia police vice unit arrested and charged a 31-year-old man with drug trafficking Friday, June 4.

Police say during a traffic stop at 6:15 p.m., officers located cocaine and cash following a search of the vehicle and driver.

The driver was arrested and a search warrant was granted for a residence in the 600 block of Cherry Drive, where more drugs and cash were allegedly found.

In total, officers seized $1,140 in cash and close to 50 grams of cocaine with an estimated street value of $4,860.

Stephen Cryderman of Sarnia is scheduled to appear in court on July 28.
