Three Chemical Valley companies issued public notices through the Aamjiwnaang Notification System Friday.
A process interruption at Imperial was reported at 7:30 a.m. The company, on its Facebook page, said a process unit was being restarted following two weeks of maintenance. Emissions from the boiler stack may be darker than normal.
Shell Corunna reported that high flaring and loud noise was possible due to planned maintenance and Suncor advised of increased flaring, possible noise and odour due to a unit shut down.
Suncor also conducted fire training at its St. Clair Parkway site Friday morning.
