Fire Life Safety Educator Mike Otis said crews responded at around 10:20 a.m. and quickly extinguished the fire.
He said there wasn't a lot of damage and no injuries were reported.
In hopes of raising awareness of the help available to sexual violence survivors, a local crisis centre has handed out stickers to over 200 businesses.
