Watford resident wins $76K playing 6/49

A Watford resident will be able to complete some home renovations after winning over $76,000 playing Lotto 6/49.

Stephen Mclean won the second prize in the December 5, 2020 draw, worth $76,281.50.

The 47-year-old said he was at home checking a few tickets on the OLG Lottery App.

"'Big Winner' appeared, and I thought something was wrong at first. I scanned it a few more times and then compared my numbers to the winning numbers to convince myself it was real!” he said. “I was shocked and surprised more than anything.”

Mclean said it feels pretty good to now be able to complete some home renovations he’s been wanting to do for some time.
