Footprints in snow lead police to B&E suspects

Lambton OPP followed footprints in the snow early Tuesday morning and nabbed two break and enter suspects.

Officers spotted a suspicious vehicle parked on Cairo Road in Dawn-Euphemia Township at around 1:30 a.m.

The investigation led officers to a nearby vacant home with signs of recent forced-entry. Two people were located inside and arrested.

A 31-year-old man from Dawn-Euphemia and a 49-year-old Bothwell woman have been charged with break and enter, possession of break in instruments, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and possession of methamphetamine.
