Lambton-Kent public board, secondary teachers ratify new deal

The Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) and the union representing its high school teachers have ratified a new collective agreement.

The deal between Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation (OSSTF) District 10 and LKDSB, was reached October 26.

The collective agreement is effective September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2022.

Contract details had not yet been released.

“We are pleased to announce that we have ratified the collective agreement with OSSTF District 10, and we look forward to continuing to work together to support student achievement and well-being,” said board Chair Jane Bryce in a statement.

OSSTF District 10 represents 600 full-time equivalent secondary teachers in Lambton-Kent.
