Sarnia police on scent of alleged perfume thieves

Sarnia police are looking to identify three women accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of perfume from a business in the 500 block of Exmouth Street.

On the evening of June 19, police said a woman stole 11 bottles of "Tom Ford EDP" perfume valued at over $2,400.

She placed the bottles in her purse and left the store without paying.

On June 27, two women were able to gain entry into two separate locked perfume cabinets. Police said they worked together to steal 31 various bottles of Chanel fragrances valued at over $4,300.

Police said the merchandise was concealed in their large purses as both females exited the store without paying.
