Local COVID-19 caseload holds steady

There's been no change to the local COVID-19 caseload in the last 24 hours.

Lambton Public Health said 260 of the 287 confirmed cases in the community have been resolved. The death toll stands at 25.

The health unit has received the results from 78 more tests since Tuesday night, for a total of 14,546.

Since the pandemic started, 98 per cent of the local tests have been negative for the deadly virus.

As of Thursday, there were no patients confirmed to have the virus at Bluewater Health. The hospital said 15 patients are suspected of having it and waiting for test results.
