No COVID deaths reported locally in a month

There's been no change to the local COVID-19 caseload in the last 24 hours.

Lambton Public Health said 259 of the 286 confirmed cases have been resolved. There have been no new cases since last Friday.

No related deaths have been reported for just over a month, sitting at a total of 25.

The health unit said nearly 98 per cent of the 13,249 test results have come back negative for COVID-19.

On Tuesday, Bluewater Health reported there are currently no patients in hospital who have tested positive for the virus, however, there are 17 suspected cases with test results pending.
