There are now four pot shop applications pending in Sarnia but none have been approved yet.
The latest to be added to the list on the Alcohol and Gaming Commission website is The We Store at 889 Exmouth St. Unit 11.
Also in progress are applications from Natures Buds on Lambton Mall Road, and Sessions Cannabis on Murphy Road.
The Cannabisery on Michener Road is in the public notice stage.
Also in progress is The Bend Cannabis Company on Main Street in Grand Bend.
The Doug Ford government announced late last year that it was abandoning its previous lottery system and moving to an open market for retail cannabis stores.
