Police witness drug transaction at Kettle Point

A 26-year-old Kettle Point man is charged after allegedly conducting a drug transaction in front of police.

At around 3:55 p.m. on May 30, Anishinabek police were parked at the Kettle Point Plaza when they saw a drug deal take place.

They arrested a suspect and seized suspected methamphetamine and drug packaging material.

Travis Anthony Cloud has been charged with one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

He was released on an undertaking to appear in court on July 15, 2020.
