Lambton OPP have closed a section of Petrolia Line in Brooke-Alvinston as they investigate a fatal collision involving a vehicle and a combine late Friday morning. Police, fire and EMS responded to Petrolia Line between Inwood Road and Nauvoo Road at around 11:30 a.m. The driver of the motor vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's identity is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin. OPP West Region Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) have been called in. Police expect the road will be closed for several hours and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
