Sarnia Lambton MP Marilyn Gladu is heading back to Ottawa early this week.
Gladu, who was re-elected to serve a second term in the October 21 election, is planning for a busy week with parliament resuming Thursday.
"I'm returning on the third of December because we have caucus meetings on the fourth and on the fifth, we'll select a speaker of the house and have the throne speech," said Gladu.
Gladu said she expects they'll be debating the throne speech the following week and there could be a confidence vote on the government by December 13.
"I'd like to see the tax reductions on the middle class that both the Liberals and Conservatives talked about putting into place, I'd like to get going on the Trans Mountain pipeline and get the USMCA [United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement] signed."
Gladu was officially sworn-in to the 43rd Parliament on November 18.
Gladu was named Shadow Minister of Health for a second time last week.
