Crash knocks out power in Corunna

Lambton OPP are investigating a crash that happened just before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night on Hill Street in Corunna.

Hill Street was blocked off in both directions from Highway 40 to Brooktree Drive for several hours for the investigation and hydro repairs.

Hydro One said power was out for over 800 homes and businesses in the area before being restored around 7 a.m. on Wednesday.

There was also another crash just before 9 a.m. at the Petrolia Line and Highway 40 intersection. The OPP said it involved two vehicles, and the scene was cleared within a couple of hours.
