Woman charged after pedestrian hit

A 54-year-old woman is charged with careless driving after a car struck a pedestrian on Michigan Line just before 2:45 p.m. Monday.

Sarnia police said an eastbound vehicle crossed over to the westbound lanes, and struck a guard rail and pedestrian.

The 60-year-old male pedestrian was taken to hospital and treated for injuries.

Michigan Line was closed from Telfer Road to Blackwell Sideroad for several hours for the investigation.
