Sarnia holding Age Friendly Expo Thursday

Interactive learning and education booths will be featured at this year's Age-Friendly expo in Sarnia.

The event is being held Thursday, June 13 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. at Sarnia Arena.

Age-Friendly Sarnia Program Co-ordinator Amy Weiler said they're focused on the 65 plus crowd.

"We want to give community members a chance to explore what Sarnia has to offer in terms of services, organizations that will allow them to get involved in the community," said Weiler. "The exhibitors are very excited, we have almost 100 exhibitors ready to engage with the community and let them know what's available."

Meanwhile, there's a new online resource for seniors to navigate health and social support systems in Lambton County.
