One dead following two-vehicle crash in St. Clair Township

A two-vehicle crash in St. Clair Township has claimed the life of one person and injured another.

The Lambton Ontario Provincial Police said a transport truck and a sedan collided at the intersection of Mandaumin Road and Courtright Line on Wednesday shortly before 1:13 p.m.

Police said one person involved in the crash has died while another had to be treated for minor injuries. The identity of the person killed is being withheld until the next of kin have been notified.

The intersection at Mandaumin Road and Courtright Line will be closed for several hours to allow officers to conduct an investigation.
