A youth is facing charges after a man carrying a child was shot with a BB gun last Friday. Sarnia police were called to a Finch Drive apartment building Thursday evening for a report of damage to a patio window that appeared to have been caused by a BB gun. Officers were unable to determine where the shot came from but were called back to the same apartment complex Friday at around 7:30 p.m. after a man holding his child had been hit. Police say there were no injuries. The father was able to point out to police the building and unit the shot came from, and surveillance video showed the shooting the night before had come from the same unit. A 16-year-old male is charged with two counts of weapons dangerous and one count of mischief under $5,000. Officers also seized a BB rifle.
