A former president of Lambton College, and well-known musician has died. George Delgrosso passed away at St. Joseph's Hospice on Monday at the age of 88. Dr. Delgrosso served as Lambton College's president for several years in the 1960's and 1970's. He was also past president of the Association of Canadian Community Colleges, and was a member of the Detroit musicians and London jazz societies. Mr. Delgrosso formed the musical group Dr. D. & All That Jazz and for 18 years was the organizer and director of international can-am concerts. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at Sarnia Golf and Curling Club, 500 Errol Road West, Sarnia on Sunday April 14 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. A private family interment at Mount Olivette Cemetery, Buffalo, New York will take place at a later date.
