St. Clair County Michigan reported flooding on the St. Clair River Monday due to a downriver ice jam. The Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management said that East China, Marine City and Algonac were being impacted. Residents needing help were asked to call their local city or township offices or 9-1-1 in an emergency. They were also being urged to avoid any flooding on roads. The U.S. Coast Guard had a cutter in the area Monday and two additional cutters were expected by Tuesday morning.
