Shaw fourth city official in two weeks to resign

Another senior City of Sarnia staff member has resigned.

Director of Community Development Services and Standards Alan Shaw has announced his last day will be February 1, 2019.

Shaw, who provided nearly 10 years of service as the city's chief building official, has accepted a position with the City of Toronto.

He will be the director of building in North York and deputy building official.

Sarnia council announced at Monday night's meeting that the city has mutually agreed to part ways with Chief Administrative Officer Margaret Misek-Evans.

City Solicitor Scott McEachran announced his pending departure on December 5, and Finance Director Lisa Armstrong's last day is February 22.
