Trafficking charges laid in Corunna drug bust

Two St. Clair Township residents are charged with drug trafficking after a bust at a Corunna residence on Friday.

Members of the Emergency Response Team, Street Crimes, and Canine units executed a search warrant on Alderbury Crescent.

Police seized cannabis marijuana, shatter, hash oil and cocaine, with an estimated combined street value of $14,160.

Two cell phones, $2,630 in Canadian currency and $162 in US currency were also seized.

Stephanie MacDonald, 39, and Woodrow James, 39, have each been charged with possession of cocaine, cannabis marijuana, and shatter for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of cannabis resin.

Both have been released from custody, and have court appearances scheduled for November 14, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia.
