Plympton-Wyoming Council has decided to spend $5,000 to $10,000 to ensure kids' safety. A crossing guard will be hired to patrol the Broadway Street and Huron Street intersection for an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon beginning at month's end. There has been increased pedestrian traffic there with the opening of the consolidated Plympton-Wyoming Public School.
