Sarnia Legionnaires Schedule Released

The Sarnia Legionnaires' 2018-2019 regular season GOJHL hockey schedule was released on Tuesday.

The season gets underway on September 13, as the Legionnaires host the Komoka Kings at the newly-renovated Sarnia Arena.

As was the case in previous seasons, the vast majority of home games are taking place on Thursday nights. There are just three Saturday night home games, September 15, December 15 and February 16, all against the Leamington Flyers.

Sarnia has home preseason contests on August 30 against St. Thomas, and on September 9 against Welland.

Derek Di Muzio is taking over as the Legionnaires' head coach this season. Mark Davis was let go after last year and is now coaching the Mooretown Flags.

Last season, the Legionnaires placed fourth in the Western Conference standings with a record of 29-15-1-5. They were eliminated in the opening round of the playoffs in five games by the St. Thomas Stars.
