ARTZscape Festival Expected To Draw Thousands

Over the past six years it has developed into one of the finest arts festival of is kind in southern Ontario.

ARTZscape By The Bay is on Saturday and Sunday at Sarnia's Centennial Park.

Event chair Sandi Grimshaw says they've deliberately kept it small with about 80 artisans.

"We have our favourites because they're the favourites with our visitors and they just love the location," says Grimshaw. "We also add new vendors to change things up a bit."

Foodies will be happy with a gourmet area, food trucks and a a "Moody Blues Cafe" with live musical entertainment.

The festival also features a robotics workshop, and a live animal exhibition.

About 8,000 people attended last year's event.

ARTZscape runs from 9am until 6pm on Saturday and 9am until 4pm Sunday.

Donations will be accepted for Pathways Health Centre For Children.
