A portion of busy Colborne Rd. in Sarnia remained closed Friday afternoon following a major water main break overnight.
Colborne Rd. was shut down between Guthrie Dr. W and Rosedale Ave.
The city's Director of Engineering, Mike Berkvens, said at mid-afternoon Friday, that crews would be working into the evening to complete the repair of the 20 inch water main, clear the road, and complete temporary road repairs.
He says the road will then be reopened with permanent repairs taking place later.
Berkvens says the main break caused flooding to some residential units and vehicles.
