Alleged Kettle Point Pot Club Busted

Four people are charged after police busted alleged unlicensed marijuana dispensaries at Kettle Point First Nation.

The Anishinabek Police Service says on July 31 its Major Crime-Investigative Support Unit with help from Kettle Point detachment officers, simultaneously executed search warrants at two locations.

Police say a quantity of cannabis marijuana, cash, and cannabis edibles were seized from dispensaries operating as "Heal Me Leaf-Cannabis Club".

Kenneth Wolfe and Samuel Fisher are each charged with conspiracy to traffic cannabis marijuana, and Miles Morrisseau and Dylan George each face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking marijuana.

All of the accused are from Kettle Point.
