Point Edward's Purdy's Fisheries Limited has been fined $800 for violating terms of its commercial fishing licence.
The company pleaded guilty to failing to properly submit a daily catch report, a requirement of the licence.
Court heard that on December 19, 2017, a captain acting on behalf of the company failed to submit a copy of a daily catch report prior to offloading that day’s catch of fish.
Justice of the Peace Helen Gale heard the case in the Ontario Court of Justice, Sarnia, on July 4, 2018.
