Petrolia Man Heading To Vegas With Big Jackpot

Barry Young of Petrolia is heading to Las Vegas after winning $1-million in the May 11 LOTTO MAX draw.

The 72-year-old says he was out with some friends when he realized he became a millionaire.

“The retailer told me I couldn’t leave yet because I was a big winner," says Young. "It didn’t hit me until I saw the validation slip for $1,000,002!”

The extra $2 came from his ENCORE selection.

Young immediately informed his wife of 15 years about his winnings.

He plans  to purchase two new vehicles, go on a vacation to Las Vegas, and share some of it with his two children.
