Unlocking Lambton

Tourism Sarnia-Lambton is encouraging you to hop in a car with your family and friends this Saturday and explore attractions in our own backyard for free.

Special Events Coordinator Vicky Praill says they've put together a driving tour to celebrate Tourism Day.

"Unlock Lambton" features 19 sites throughout Lambton County that you can visit at your own leisure, and in any order that you wish.

"Some of them are museums where typically they charge a fee to go in, but on this day which is June the 9th, there is no fee it will all be free admission," says Praill. "These are places like the Sombra Museum, the Moore Museum, the Oil Museum of Canada, the Lambton Heritage Museum. We also have conservation areas and parks."

She says all of the sites on the tour are gems in our community, that some residents may not have visited before.
