Police Nab Two Suspected Drunk Drivers

Sarnia police arrested two more alleged drunk drivers over the weekend.

On Friday at 11:30am officers responded to a collision near Exmouth St. and East St.

Believing one of the drivers may have been drinking, a breathalyzer test was conducted and police say a 64-year-old Exeter man was charged after registering twice the legal limit.

On Sunday at about 7:20pm, police responded to a call about a possible impaired driver and saw a vehicle crossing the double yellow line on Airport Rd. near Telfer Rd.

Police say the 40-year-old driver blew three times over the legal limit and he too was charged with impaired driving.
