Local celebrities will dance to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society of Sarnia-Lambton.
A $25,000 goal is set for the annual "Dancing With the Stars" gala Saturday night.
Event co-ordinator Eve Morgan says the money stays in the community.
"The money goes to local programs and services, so everything that is raised for Alzheimer's Sarnia-Lambton through Dancing with the Stars stays locally to support the over 3,600 people in this community that are dealing with Alzheimer's disease and dementia," says Morgan.
The event at the Dante Club is nearly sold out.
Tickets are available through the local Alzheimer's Society's office and online.
