Lambton OPP Urge Drivers To Slow Down

The OPP say officers simply cannot understand why drivers are not getting the message to slow down.

Between Christmas Day and New Years Day, Lambton officers responded to 62 collisions.

Of those, 47 were single vehicles that collided with a ditch or median because drivers were simply going too fast in poor weather and road conditions.

Police say many now face insurance policy increases of anywhere from $500 to $1,000 and had to pay $200 to get their vehicles towed out of the ditch.
