Interview With Derek Drouin (AUDIO)

Olympic gold medalist Derek Drouin is back home as the Sarnia Sting are recognizing his athletic accomplishments prior to their home game Friday night.

Drouin will be dropping to puck prior to the game against the visiting Barrie Colts, it'll be the second time he's been honoured by the Sting.

In an interview with CHOK's Jake Jeffrey, Drouin talks about playing minor hockey in Mooretown, his time at Indiana University, battling through injuries, being a role model and how he takes care of his mental health during a busy competition schedule.

Drouin also talks about how important it is for athletes to play multiple sports.
