An 18-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon.
Around 3:45pm, Sarnia police say a motorcycle was attempting to pass a car travelling east on Lakeshore Rd., that was making a left turn on to Modeland Rd.
According to witnesses, while driving around the car and onto the shoulder of the road, the motorcycle accelerated into the intersection.
Police say the bike t-boned a westbound vehicle, that was turning south on to Modeland. Rd.
The male motorcyclist suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. Sarnia police say no other injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing and police say charges are pending.
