Missing Virgin Mary

Somebody stole the Virgin Mary.

Sarnia police are looking for the public's help in locating a 300 lbs statue of the holy mother that was taken from the front lawn of an Oxford St. address last Thursday night.

Police say Mother Mary is approximately 3'0" tall, painted blue and white.

There is a snake at the foot of the statue wrapped around an apple with the family name McCauley at the bottom.

Police say the family would like it back because of its sentimental value.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Constable David Ferrera at 519-344-8861 ex. 6220 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
