Phragmites line the Howard Watson Nature Trail. Photo submitted by City of Sarnia. Weather has been causing problems with Phase 2 of the city's plan to eradicate phragmites along the Howard Watson Nature Trail.
It had been scheduled for August 5 but was cancelled due to high winds.
The trail, between Retford Ave. and Exmouth St. is now scheduled to be closed at 9am Wednesday, August 9 and reopen Friday.
The plans are again weather dependent and could be changed.
