A male crossing guard was taken to hospital with what are believed to be non life threatening injuries, after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning. Sarnia police Constable John Sottosanti says it happened just before 8:30am at Murphy Rd. and Rosedale Ave. Sottosanti says it appears that no children were crossing the street at the time of the incident. Murphy Rd. was closed between Capri St. and Wiltshire Dr. until about 11am and has since reopened. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision this morning to contact Constable Mark Berger at 519-344-8861 ext: 6156
