Single vehicle crash on St. Clair St. June 24,
2017 (Photo courtesy of Pt. Edward Fire and Rescue Facebook)A 21-year-old Point Edward man has been charged with impaired driving after a motor vehicle hit a hydro pole in Point Edward early Saturday.
The OPP responded to the crash in the 200-block of St. Clair St. just before 5:30am.
A Pontiac Sunfire sustained significant front end damage and a pole was snapped off at the base.
Police say the driver was taken to the Petrolia detachment where he allegedly blew two times over the legal limit.
There were no injuries.
