Lambton OPP are investigating a home invasion in Petrolia this week.
Police say just after 3am on Tuesday, the owner of a residence on Petrolia Line, investigating a noise in the house, was confronted by two suspects wearing black sweaters with hoods.
One brandished a weapon and began to ransack the home before the two fled with some property. They were last seen on foot heading west on Petrolia Line.
The West Region OPP Canine Unit and the Emergency Response Team conducted an extensive search of the area but no suspects were found.
The Lambton OPP Crime Unit continues to investigate.
