McGregor Helps Lead Canada To Gold

It's another golden finish for Forest's Tyler McGregor.

He scored twice in Canada's 4-1 win over the United States in the gold medal game of the 2017 IPC World Para Hockey Championship in South Korea. It’s the fourth world title for the Canadians, who also topped the podium in 2000, 2008 and 2013.

Canada opened up a 4-0 second period lead when McGregor scored twice in a 13 second span.

The gold medal game capped off an outstanding tournament for McGregor, who lead all scorers with 12 goals.

Canada's only loss at the tournament was a 2-1 decision to the US during round robin play.

The sports name was recently changed from sledge hockey to para ice hockey.
