Two men have been arrested after after allegedly trespassing at multiple homes in Sarnia.
Around 1:50am Friday, members of the COPPS Unit spotted an unoccupied, parked vehicle known to police. It was placed under surveillance, and two men were allegedly observed walking back and forth from the vehicle to nearby residences in the area of Oxford St. and Lincoln Park Ave.
A subsequent search allegedly found 1.7 g of methamphetamine, 9.9 g of marijuana, three 8 mg hydromorphone tablets, and one 18 mg hydromorphone capsule.
James Stewart Viggers, 52, and David Ross Baxter, 44, were arrested and charged with trespassing at night and possession of a controlled substance. Viggers is also charged with two counts of breach of probation.
Both men were being held pending bail hearings.
