Victim Services Needs Volunteers

Victim Services of Sarnia-Lambton is looking for individuals to provide support to victims of crime and tragic circumstances in our community.

Executive Director Samantha Matty says training will be provided.

"We're really just looking for compassionate, non judgmental people," says Matty. "We'll teach you the crisis intervention skills. It involves about 20 hours of on-line training and another 20 hours of face-to-face instruction at either the North Lambton Community Centre or the Sarnia police station."

Crisis responders are needed for weekdays, week nights and weekends.
