Christmas Tree Placed At Sarnia City Hall

A Christmas tree is now in place at Sarnia City Hall.

The 30 ft blue spruce, donated by Jen and Todd Latta in Bright's Grove, arrived Tuesday.

Brandon Contracting donated the flatbed truck used to transport the tree to city hall, which was then placed by Atkco Crane free of charge.

The city's forestry team helped secure the tree with cables in the fountain area at City Hall.

For many years residents have submitted their trees as prospective candidates to save the cost of removing the tree themselves.
